Who did you meet at the BBQ? Lots of residents had a chance to mingle and meet AMHC staff at BBQs held right in their community. In fact, more than 325 residents came out for AMHC’s free BBQs. Let’s hope the weather is as warm and sunny next year!
AMHC Residents Flock to Website! It’s official. Ajax Municipal Housing Corporation’s (AMHC) website is a greatsuccess! At the time of printing AMHC’s website has received more than 1000 visitors from more than 9 countries around the world. Here in Ajax, residents are taking advantage of the functionality of our website by submitting their work orders online. The first work order in fact was received from one of our seniors living at Westwood Manor.

Many AMHC residents have requested the option to set up pre-authorized payments for their monthly rent. We are pleased to announce that this service will be offered starting December 1st.

If it seems warmer than usual in your unit, make sure your thermostat is turned to off or cool. Check all electric baseboard heaters to make sure they have been turned off. This will not only ensure your unit stays as cool possible, it will also lower your electricity bill.
